Recommend it but not cheap

The room was clean, had this nice balcony over the garden. Was hot though, no air conditioning on a 30-degree day, so had to leave the window open. Well, that was a nice backdrop while trying to rest, even if it went on till after 11.

Breakfast experience was severely lacking, with an untidy restaurant and emptiness in the hot food area despite arriving when it was still served. Accessing the parking was unclear, leading to unexpected street parking, and the restaurant closure added to the frustration of the stay.

Staff were top-notch, even gave us a free starter in the restaurant which was out of this world. The breakfast lady? Couldn't have been more accommodating when my kids were too noisy, just a gem.

I enjoyed my stay, particularly the spacious room that featured a large private terrace, perfect for soaking up the sun. It was just a short walk to the restaurants and the stunning castle, making it easy to explore the beautiful town of Chantilly. While everything else was commendable, the air conditioning in the room could definitely use an upgrade.
